an internationally recognized artist with works in the
collections of several of the world’s major museums from
the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC to the Victoria and
Albert Museum, London, England. He was given a 25 year
retrospective exhibition at the Smithsonian American Art
Museum in 1995, and has works are in many private and
corporate collections throughout the US and abroad
including Hewlett Packard Corporation Large Format
Division, Barcelona, Spain. (See wikipedia: Mark Lindquist Sculptor)
Mark has been photographing with small, medium and large
format since 1969 and has spent a lifetime creating fine
art photographs of his work and works of other artists,
including photographing in the White House Oval Office.
He has been a digital camera user since 1999 and an
early adopter of Nikon’s cameras ever since.
Currently, much of Mark’s time is spent creating robotic
camera systems and abstract artwork. Always an advocate
of the fine print, Mark has a dedicated print studio
with a goal of creating the highest quality museum
archival printing possible with his systems.
Lindquist owns and operates Lindquist Studios in North
FL, a 15,000 sq. foot studio facility that has a full
compliment of photography and print studios including
galleries. From woodworking studios, metal working
studio, photo studio, printing studio, library and
archives, today, Mark is enjoying the fruits of his
labors as a well known sculptor and is pursuing the
creation of fine art motion blur abstract photography. |
